If you are a member, you can enter the surnames you are researching. If someone is researching the same name, they can contact you via email. Your email address is blind and not shown. You then have the option to contact them to corroborate. You may enter as many of your surnames as you wish - there is no limit.
 
How to enter your surname information:
Log into your account. You must be logged in as a member in to enter surnames.
Under the "Members Only" menu, click on "Your Membership Profile."
Enter as much information as you can. While only the surname field is required, the more information you provide, the more likely others can evaluate whether there’s a potential connection.
 
 
 


On the bottom half of the profile page there are five tabs. Select the "Surnames" tab.
 
When you click the Surnames tab, you'll see the "Add" icon in the upper right hand corner
Click on the icon to open a form in which you can enter the information for your ancestor.  Enter as much information as you can (only the surname field is required). When finished, click "Save."
